# Evolution

As the name [Evolution](/evolve/evolution.md) suggest, we are trying to meet the standards of building a service to run on cloud, using cloud native technologies. Read more about cloud native [here](https://www.cncf.io/).

## Overview

We are trying to build a solution where A user can upload a photo or a video. The video and photos are then processed, and thumbnails would be generated, and the user can later browser his photos and can share them with friends.

The photos/videos will then be processed using some AI API to understand what's inside it and generate metadata for the same. The images will then be searchable via these tags added.
